The first point in the construction of a helmet, the most important, is the way to create it. Now, the safest system to make a helmet is In-Mold, Abus patented. What does In-Mold means? Really easy to explain. The inner and the outer parts of the helmets are constructed in just one step, it´s not two parts glued. This system assure the structure of the helmet, being much more resistance to the impacts. To complete the security facts, Abus helmets have reflecting strips on the back side, or, like the new Urban model, a small but powerful light in the rear adjustment.

Probably the air ventilation is the main fact talking about comfort. How many cyclist refused to wear a helmet because the heat? Abus has deeply investigate this specific area, and helmets like the S Force Peak an d the S Force Road have 14 air intakes and 10 inner channels to make this air circulate.
